Project
We developed a product introduction presentation for Sagent Pharmaceuticals. The presentation was displayed on a grid of 4 plasma TV’s at a seminar. Few of the screen shots from the presentation are displayed below.

About the Client
Doug and Lorenza Sloss are professional underwater photographers and writers. They travel the world teaching hundreds of people how to dive, shoot photography and enhance images using Adobe Photoshop.

Challenges
The client needed a DVD which they could use as a template to produce different versions of training CDs. Mr. Sloss wanted a solution which would make it easy for him to update data himself. The client was searching for a customized, easily updated solution which would run on all platforms, especially Mac and PC. And finally they wanted the videos to be high quality and user friendly for their audience.

Execution
Our talented team of designers and programmers was able to create a customized solution using Flash, Actionscripting and XML for the client according to their specifications. A special interface was created in Adobe Photoshop which worked with the Flash application. The DVD application used XML files as a back end tool to update the material, so the client would be able to update and create different versions of the DVD withing opening the Flash application. Our programmers created a program which would allow the client to expand and add new tutorial categories and videos in as little as 1 to 2 hours. A customized media player was created in Flash tox play the video tutorials. Our programmers helped the client identify the best format for exporting videos at a high resolution while keeping the file size small. The videos were crisp and ran efficiently on both PC and Mac without downloading any extra programs or applications. Finally the team created a dual mode which allowed the DVD to run in a window or a full screen. If the viewer wanted to work in Photoshop while viewing the video, they could view the video in a separate window and work in Photoshop side by side.

Results
Ex-Dimension, Inc. was able to successfully deliver the completed project on time and according to the client’s requirements. The solution that was created made it easy for the client to update and add new tutorials to the DVD. A customized interface was created to keep a similar look and feel between the client’s website and DVDs. As requested by the client, the DVD ran efficiently on both Mac and PC without any additional applications. The client was very pleased with the results and extraordinary customer service. Thus another project was successfully delivered by Ex-Dimension, Inc.

About the Client
A small private school for students with learning differences, Northstar Academy is dedicated to educating the whole child – academically, physically, emotionally and socially – in the unique way that each child learns best. Here, students once frustrated and disillusioned become excited by possibilities for learning and for life.

Challenges
The client needed a design team which would be able to design a complete print campaign for them, thus Ex-Dimension Inc was contacted by Northstar Academy. They needed posters, brochures,newspaper ads and fliers designed. They also needed a brochure converted into digital format so that viewers could access it online on their website.

Execution
Ex-Dimension’s design team created customized posters, brochures, newspaper ads and fliers for the client while following their website theme and design. Than the digital publishing team stepped in to convert the brochure into a high end digital experience. Finally the programming team ended the job by integrating the digital brochure into their website. The project was completed and delivered within the client’s time frame.

Results
Ex-Dimension was able to complete the entire print and digital campaign for Northstar Academy on time. The client was very impressed by our customer service and efficient work ethic. Our designers were able to create a brochure design to compliment and flow along with their current website. Once the brochure design was completed our designers began work on the newspaper ad design and poster design, which they handled in a professional and organized manner. The Ex-Dimension team was proud to complete the project to the exact specifications of the client and we were able to add Northstar Academy to our elite list of clients.

About the Company
Empower Woman Publications is a small and privately owned 100% woman owned business certified by both the WBE and the Women’s Business Development Center in Chicago. Established in 2003, our company mission is to provide information, education and resources to women to help empower them to live better lives.

Challenges
Empower Woman Publications was in need of a new website with a completely fresh look. They also needed a management system to manage their monthly magazine issues. Since they publish on a regular basis they have much content to manage as well so they needed an integrated content management system. In order to make it convenient for their readers Empower Woman Publications also wanted to digitize their magazine so people could view it online for a high-end digital experience. All the while Ex-Dimension’s design team had to make sure the website and digital publication was user friendly and easy to navigate. And finally EWP needed an inquiry management system to handle frequent client inquiries.

Execution
Once all the details were discussed and finalized with the client the Ex-Dimension design team members began work on the website design. The programmers created the website using Php, MySQL, HTML, Flash, CSS and JavaScript. A customized content management system was created based on the client’s requirements and IT experience. Custom templates were created for each page so even when the client enters data the template will not break. An Integrated Digital Magazine solution was created so EWP could publish their e-zines. A managment system was created to control the blogs, classifieds, resources, inquires, Newsletter subscriptions, event calender, woman in business section, service directory, advertisers listings, archive magazine issues along with other sections of the site.

Results
Ex-Dimension, Inc. was able to create a website which was not only user friendly but aesthetically pleasing as well. The design team worked closely with the client to create a site to the exact specifications presented by EWP. Our programming specialists were able to create customized solution to fit the clients requirements regarding content and inquiry management. Our digital publishing team worked closely with the programmers to convert their print publication into a digital format to make viewing the magazine as convenient for their reads as possible.

About the Client
Sneckenberg, Thompson & Brody, LLP is a highly respected “AV” Rated Chicago law firm founded upon personal and individualized representation of clients with a tradition of excellence, reliability and integrity.

Challenges
The client wanted to redesign their website with a distinctive design. Their previous website had many technical problems and was not customizable or expandable. They were looking for a solution that would allow them to add and/or update the website themselves and would also be cost-effective. When Emilie G. Kaplan contacted Ex-Dimension for their web development needs they were in search of a design team who would be able to create a website that reflected the firm’s strong image,and was user friendly. They also needed an area to dynamically post the firm’s news and results.

Execution
After consulting with the client regarding their specific needs, the Ex-Dimension design team began work on giving the company website a completely new ambiance, which reflected the law firm’s powerful image. In order to do that they first upgraded the logo design to compliment the new company image. Once the logo was “touched” up, the designers as well as the programmers joined forces to create a strong company website using Flash, HTML, CSS, Javascript, ASP and SQL server which allowed the client to add/update parts of the website themselves. A customized solution was created to give the client the freedom to make the necessary changes through out the site such as updating the attorney’s profiles and adding current news and results to the firm’s “news and results” page. We were able to create and deliver the complete project successfully and according to the client’s requirements within the 15 day deadline.

Results
Ex-Dimension, Inc. was able to meet all the client’s requests and was able to create a professional, clean and efficient website within the 15-day deadline. Once the project was delivered the Ex-Dimension’s team provided initial training to the client to help them upgrade the site on an on going basis themselves. The client was very impressed and pleased with our work and excellent service that they recommended Ex-Dimension Inc to other businesses.

Sole Collector was established in 2003, and is the world’s leading consumer sneaker magazine. With direct-from-the-source information, professional photography, exclusive content and international distribution, Sole Collector magazine offers the highest quality sneaker experience available in print. Sole Collector is the exclusive magazine sold at Foot Locker and Footaction. It is also sold at bookstores, newsstands and sneaker boutiques globally.

Challenges
As the demands of the readers expand; the publishing industry is facing a difficult challenge of making their publications available to everyone. Publishers want to decrease the time it takes for readers to receive their publications so they can spend more time enjoying it. That concern prompted Nicole Fesette, Executive Editor of Sole Collector Magazine, to contact Live Publications.“We wanted to expand our subscription capabilities and give subscribers and potential subscribers the advantage of seeing the magazine before it hit the newsstands,” she said, “eliminating the shipping time lag between print and arrival.” Readers around the world prefer that they have their documents ready and in their hands as soon as possible. The best way for publishers to solve this dilemma is to present their document online in a digital, easy to view format.
